G’day, I’m sewTreefrog.
I’m a keen home sewist and make all my own clothes – from lingerie, to activewear, to casual clothes and business wear. Mostly I use indie patterns, but I’m not afraid to draft my own patterns to knock-off a designer look. I also dabble in weaving and dyeing to create my own fabrics or get the perfect colour that I’m after.
Recently I’ve been trying to take a more planned approach to my sewing by creating wardrobe plans. I’m still attracted by the ‘new and shiny’ or just plain whimsical though 🙂
I live in country Victoria, Australia. An hour’s drive from the ski-fields and the Murray River. Summer here can be baking hot (40C+) and winter days around 10C.
