Now Sewing..

A friendly reminder…

I think this set turned out very well. The photos don't really do it justice as they don't pick up the shine from the gold and silver threads that well. Please swipe through to see some detailed shots
I started this bra set over the Easter break and I'm hoping to get it finished this weekend. The light gold fabric has been swapped out for ivory and I've kept the embroidered details below the bustline so I can still wear it under a white shirt.
I made this drawstring swim bag using a water resistant outdoor fabric. I was wanting a bag that I can use when going kayaking or swimming that would hold all my stuff. On the back, there is a zippered shoe compartment, which could also be used for separating the wet from dry items
Next project : a waterproof drawstring backpack with shoe compartment.
Only 30 years in the making 🤣 The unfinished shirt that I found the back of the cupboard is finally finished. It was a good find as I really love this print and can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it. I'm pleasantly surprised that it fits 😁
How aged is your oldest sewing WIP? I found this shirt-in-the-making in the back of a cupboard. It must be about 30 years old.
