A blouse within a blouse

This project started of as a test garment for McCalls 7387, which was an utter fail. If it hadn’t been for the nice print and a perfect button placket (made using a new technique), I would have given up. With a bit of pattern tetris, I was able to transform it into a blouse that I love.

McCall’s 7446 Tank Top and Self Drafted Cycling Shorts

Recently I drafted a pair of cycling bib shorts and have found them so great to wear. They have become my favourites and wear them in preference to the elastic waist type shorts. Owl sweatshirt and dress-form arms

For a bit of fun this week, I’ve been playing with fabric crayons to give a bit of interest to a plain grey sweatshirt.  And I finally got around to making arms for my dress-form.  Something I’ve been meaning to get around to for ages.
